Love this Quote..
2/20/2011 ETA: Someone asked how I did my flowers. I was inspired by this blue flower and the tutorials on the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog.
I cut six layers from a Spellbinders scalloped circle die, wet them, crinkled them and then layered them. For the centers I placed a glue dot and covered it in micro beads.
that was shared with us at my Weight Watchers meeting (another story) a couple of weeks ago:
There are only two choices; make progress or make excuses.
Ellen Mikesell
It is obviously very appropriate for weight loss, but I think it could be used for life in general. Now, I am not a big quote person, but this one really spoke to me. When I make excuses for not losing weight or not exercising, I am fooling no one but myself. I may not always make progress but I am determined to quit making excuses.
Anyway, I made another project for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge using this quote. I made a wall hanging:
I am thrilled with how it turned out. Except for the red paper, poster board and some dies, everything was from my kit.
My favorite part are the flowers I made. Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog provided these tutorials and they inspired me to try my hand at it.
I love the way they came out. I added black and gold micro beads for the centers. I think I will hang it right on my fridge. Maybe that will help?
Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog has a blog hop coming up later in the month that I am going to get ready for next.
Thanks for visiting.
See you soon,
Ang
