Happy New Year!

Image
Almost.  I took a couple of days off work and got some crafting time today.  My December release goodies from PTI finally came yesterday.  I love the new Rosie Posie set and dies.  I had to make a couple of Thank You cards so I used it today.  As a matter of fact, except for the inks these cards are all PTI.  Those are my luscious new Amuse inks. Thanks for visiting. See you next year, Ang

Far Too Long...

Image
I have been away from my blog for far too long.  I have been doing some crafting, just haven't had the time to get to the old blog.   I hope everyone had and continues to have a wonderful holiday season. I have found that working full time and trying to plan, shop, wrap, cook, visit and whatever else, is  not so easy to do.  We got it all done.  I just didn't get enough sleep.  I would wake up about 5am every morning, thinking about something else that needed to be done.  Ah, well it is all worth it in the long run. Today I participated in the CAS-ual Friday Challenge .  Their challenge is to use kraft and twine. They are partnering with Market Street Stamps for this challenge.  Market Street Stamps provide a very cute digi-stamp to use. Here is my card: A little PTI, MFT, Stickles and Spellbinders on there too. Thanks for visiting. See you soon, Ang

Hi Again!

Image
Two days in a row.  I haven't done that in a while.   I have a young friend that is turning 15 on Thursday.   I made this card to send to her:  Items from many different companies on this one.  PTI, MFT, Amuse (inks), Spellbinders, Hero Arts.  This is another one where it came out better than I had envisioned.  I must have had all my crafting stars aligned yesterday. Thanks for the visit,  Ang

Whew, I just made it!

Since seeing this challenge over  at the  Simon Says Stamp and Show blog, I have wanted to make something but haven't had time. Today was the first time I had to get crafty this week. The challenge was " Simon Says Stamp and Show ... some Time!"  I love using clock faces on projects, and keys for that matter.  I had a vision in my head and this is one of those times when the actual item comes out better than I had envisioned.  I love when that happens, don't you?   Here is what I came up with: I found that little frog holding it up at an antique store yesterday.   It really gets a grip on things. It is actually dark brown and the red is very subdued.   The picture looked much better on my camera. These shots really don't do it justice.  All of the hardware is either brown or black. I finally used the stack of chocolate Co'ordinations paper that I have had forever. I made a couple of other things too.  I hope to get the up here

PTI's MIM and CAS-ual Friday's

Mixing the challenges again.  Love it! I really like the look of the pleated ribbon that Dawn McVey did for this weeks MIM #43. I also wanted to do the CAS-ual Friday Challenge CFC30. .  I chose the diagonal row; scallops, kraft and aqua. Here is my card: Lots of goodies on this one. Crate Paper, Studio Calico, & PTI.  Love that little Sudio Calico wood house. Thanks for visiting. See you soon, Ang
