Card Set

Image
Finished my third card for the set that I am making to go into the gift bag I showed you a while back.    I've got some PTI, some Basic Grey and an MFT die was used for the flower. This one and the other two cards I made are going into the gift bag along with a gift for my sister, whose birthday is Tuesday.   I think she will really like the set. Thanks for visiting. See you soon, Ang

Another Day, Another Challenge

Image
I saw this sketch and really liked it so I decided to participate in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge .  I was in the process of making another card that just wasn't working for me.   So I modified things a bit, added a little bit and came up with this. I am really happy with the way it came out.   I am planning on making a couple more cards using these colors and theme to make a set to go into my little bag I made a couple of weeks ago:   I have a dear friend that is going thru some tough times and wanted to send her a card. I found an old magazine page I had torn out and used it for inspiration to make this card:  The patterned paper is from a new Authentique 6X6 pad I picked up a while back.   I also used my PTI Wreath For All Seasons which has not seen nearly enough love. Thanks for visiting. See you soon, Ang

Inspiration

Image
from two different Challange Blogs created this beauty. ETA: Someone asked about the flowers.  They are made using MFT Rolled roses dies .  Love those things S I first saw the challenge over at The Play Date Cafe to use a splash of orange with black and white.  Check this out: How could I resist.   I knew immeditaely what paper I wanted to use.   Then I saw the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays  to make or use a tag. This may be one of the most decadent things I have ever made.   A little PTI felt and border dies, some orange felt flowers.   I have only scraps of this paper left and am not sure who it is by.   It is flocked and just gorgeous.   That is a Tim Holtz Facet hanging below the flowers. It kind of reminds me of an elegant wedding cake. Thanks for visiting. See you soon, Ang
