Love the burlap flowers

I made thses cards about a week ago.  I wanted to try and make flowers out of burlap.













I die cut the burlap using some PTI dies.  They started to fray almost immediatley.


I have since read on someone's blog (sorry can't remember who) that if you cover the burlap in mod podge first they won't fray.  I have a piece of burlap mod podged and ready to go.  Will post the outcome asap.

Even with the fraying I think it looks pretty cool. Gives the card a whole new dimension. Great color scheme too! TFS

What yummy textural goodness! DId the Modge Podge work? Itching to know if it works. I really have got to try that if it does. I'd use burlap more often if I could get some semblance of control over the ungodly fraying. The colors are so appealing here. Magnificent card Ang..as always!
