Layout for March CKC (Counterfeit Kit Challenge)

Here is my first layout using my March Kit.  I was looking thru my pictures and came across these of my husband from last summer.  They worked out perfectly with some of the bright papers in my kit.  I even used some of the MemoryWorks orange frames.  Those are probably one of the oldest things in my stash and I never thought I would use them.  Not sure why they never got passed on during one of my purging sessions.  They are rubbery and flexible.  I actually really like them and they worked out perfectly for this layout.

I started, as I do for most layouts, perusing one of my Becky Fleck Page Maps books.  I am not affiliated with these books in any way, I just think they are fantastic.  They make designing a layout super easy and make the entire process go so much quicker for me.  I used to really struggle with layout design.  

I did add a few more things from my stash for this layout.  The metal embellishments, ricrac and the Tim Holtz journaling tickets.  I thought they worked well with the letters from my kit.
