Counterfeit Birds

I have been working on this for a week or two.  I went back and forth on the idea for the twigs.  This started out as a holder for the Williams-Sonoma peppermint soap collection that they carry during the holidays.  I love the stuff and a very dear girlfriend of mine gave me the set for Christmas.  The box is super sturdy and I couldn't just recycle it.  It kind of reminded me of a birdhouse, hence my paper choices.  It started out red, so I painted it and then covered it in papers from my Counterfeit Kit.  The ribbon is from my kit also.

I decided to use some actual twigs from my backyard. There is a twig and bird on each side.  I used, for the first time, Helmar Liquid Scrapdots to adhere the birds. Love it.  Since I was adding them to the twigs it was very uneven.  The Liquid Scrapdots made for perfect dimensional adhesion by evening everything out.
Hmmm...what to store in it.
