Mad for Paper

and a flower too.  This is to go along with the cards & notepad in my previous post.  I made the flower into a pin and made this little tag to attach it to.  Whenever Joann's has buttons half off I always buy extra, pretty ones to use in crafting..  I used one of those as the flower center for this flower.  It's a little sparkly and really pretty in real life.  So here is the tag and gift all put together.  I just love it (toot, again). One more little project using my Counterfeit Kit.   My pal Crystal sent me two beautiful sheets of woodgrain print outs.  One of them was on canvas (love it) and I used it and other parts of my kit to cover this little book. more organza.  I went back to Joann's. The organza was on sale and I only got 1/8 yard of each.  I think I bought every color they had and I only spent $7.00.   I, of course, made some more flowers.  This is one of my favorites.  It is really large about 2 1/2 inches.  I think it would look so pretty as a pin. Then I figured out a way to add some leaves: You can barely see them on the purple flower, they are more of a sage green.  I also played around with different centers. Then I tried some different cutting techniques, I am am ecstatic about the way these came out.       And I tried one it tulle.  It was kind of a pain in the neck because it kept getting caught on everything.  I really love the stamens which I also made. As much as I love these, I am not sure what I will do with them. I just love beautiful little things. Thanks for visiting.  See you soon, Ang
