Mad for Paper

Hi Everyone,  Today I am participating in Iwana Palamountain's Sketchbook Saturday Challenge .   I have probably mentioned it before, but I am a huge fan of Iwanas.   Her cards are always incredibly beautiful and so inspiring. Here is the current sketch: And a little more detail on my card.   I wanted to use this very delicate die cute sentiment.   I cut it five times and stacked them.   I am really happy with the way it came out but it was a little bit of a pain to put together.  The flower is from a new SU set.  I embossed in white on vellum and used markers to color it on the back.  Then I cut it out.  The leaves are various dies.  A little bling and I have a card with a lot going on but, to me,  it retains a sereneness, which is what I had hoped for. I made a couple of cards for sketch challenges.   These are to go along with a gift set I am making as a hostess gift for a friend. The first card is for Card Patterns Sketch #129 My card uses a combo of SU and PTI sets.  Check out the cute scalloped ribbon from SU.  I love this stuff, I bought a couple of colors. My next card is for Card Positioning Systems #232. This also uses a combo of PTI and SU stamps.  I also used up my MIM ribbon from a couple of weeks back.  SU has this new set of two smaller embossing folders that make these cool frames.  It really embossed deeply.  The SU XL oval punch fits right inside that oval to make it into an actual frame.  Love this!  Now that I finished making the gift set I need to come up with a fun way to package it.  I want to include some dried oragano from my yard also.  I will share when I get that done. Today I decided to do a couple of sketch challenges                                 I thought they worked well together so I decided to make a set of cards, one for each. Here is the first card for CPS #128 Here is the card for SSSC #130 The coffee and tea images and sentiments on both cards are from this cute Purple Onion set I got. Their stamps are super high quality red rubber.  You get just the rubber.  All of the stamps are 25% off till the 17th for their Anniversary. (I am not affiliated with them in any way, I just love their stamps)  I also used my new PTI Mat Stack 2 stamp set. Added some really old patterned papers, flowers and bling too. I'm not sure why but that SSSC gave me a little trouble. I think is was the asymmetry of it?  I really do like it tho and am making anot...
