Papertrey March Blog Hop Challenge
Happy PTI Blog Hop day, This month PTI asked us to use embroidery floss in a fun and inventive way. I started thinking about this about a week ago and I'll tell you that, except for the Altoid tin, what I had planned couldn't be further from what I actually came up with. I tried my first idea about three times before I finally gave up. I have never tied so many french knots in my life. Anyway, I was in bed the other night and this idea came to me. It's still not exactly what I had envisioned, but I like the way it came out. Here is the outside of the tin. I wrapped the floss around a Maya Road chipboard twig. I used a PTI coaster for the top to level it out. I made masks with my PTI cloud dies and then sponged the sky. The leaves are from Beautiful Blooms II and the button is PTI Ripe Avocado.
