WM Fanatics & Freshly Made Sketch

Two challenges today with this card:

First up: Freshly Made Sketches #118 using this sketch:
I really like the simplicity of it.

This photo was provided, but the main criteria is to use fabric:
My card:
There is a little bit of burlap behind the WMS flower.  I like bling in small doses.  I debated about adding the sequins but since these Avery Elle kraft ones are so subtle I decided to give it a go.  Glad I did.

It is barely noticeable, but I wove white embroidery thread around the edge of the burlap.

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.

A super combination of challenges! I love the chevron background and the texture with the burlap, like the white thread too! Thanks so much for playing along with Waltzingmouse Fanatics!

I like how you used your fabric - it really shows off the lovely blume to full effect. I have to get me some of those kraft sequins - they're fab!
Thanks for joining us at Waltzingmouse Fanatics again.

Oh, this is great the way that thin die cut stands out so well against the chevron. And sequins - I just ran across a very few in my stash from a hundred years ago. You have inspired me to try using them.

The bling is just right...lovely card. I like the contrast between the burlap and the delicacy of the other elements.
