Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge 3

Now, this was a challenge!
The third WMS Fanatic Challenge is Halloween themed and you must use WMS stamps.  I only have two sets and they are not even close to Halloween themed.  I really wanted to participate.  I have a girlfriend whose birthday is on Halloween and I wanted to make a gift tag for her.   I struggled, thinking of how I could make a Halloween themed tag with the sets I have.
I took a good look at the Simple Srig set:
Simple Sprig
See those round flowers on the right.  I stamped them and cut them out to resemble pumpkins.
So I used those and the leaves to create this tag:

I made a lot of mistakes on this.  It actually turned out alright though, because I wanted a kind of grungy feel to it.  The lamp post is an old Sixxlets strip die I found on clearance somewhere.
Here is a close up of the pumpkins, I kinda like them:

Found a small piece of ricrac in my scraps and tied in on here:

I can't wait till the next WMS release.  Hopefully there will be something I can't live without so I can continue with these challenges.  If they want Christmas next time, I may be in trouble.

Thanks for visiting.
See you soon,
Ang

Well I think you get bonus points for creativity and determination to take part in our challenge! I also think the finished tag is perfect - floral pumpkins are the way to go!
Thanks so much for joining us for our Halloween challenge.
