Sketchbook Saturday #107

I have long been a fan of Iwona Palamountain's blog.
I really like her style, I always love her cards.
I don't think I have ever participated in any of her challenges though.
I fell in love with her card and the sketch this week:

So I decided to give it a go.  I found an old 6X6 Prima pad, Madelaine.  This collection has some of the most beautiful papers in it.  I just think they are so pretty.  Here is my card:

The card base is PTI soft Stone.  It is a really lovely shade.  The butterfly is a Memory Box two-part die.  love it.

You can't really see it in the photos, but I added Wink of Stella pen (clear) over the butterfly body.  Love that pen, I think I need more colors.  I tried a ribbon across the top like the sketch but it was just too heavy.  I found this little MFT scroll die in my stash and went with that instead.
It also has Wink of Stella on it.

I stamped a Hero Arts sentiment and added bling to the bottom.
I'm really happy with how this card came out.
Thanks for the inspiration Iwona!

As always, thanks for visiting.
See you soon,
Ang

First up, thank you for such a nice comment about my work! I'm blushing :) Your card is so lovely, aren't Madeline papers just perfect? A truly stunning effect, on the patterned butterfly. Thank you for joining me!
