Whew, I just made it!

Since seeing this challenge over  at the  Simon Says Stamp and Show blog, I have wanted to make something but haven't had time. Today was the first time I had to get crafty this week. The challenge was "Simon Says Stamp and Show ... some Time!"  I love using clock faces on projects, and keys for that matter.  I had a vision in my head and this is one of those times when the actual item comes out better than I had envisioned.  I love when that happens, don't you?

Here is what I came up with:

I found that little frog holding it up at an antique store yesterday.
It really gets a grip on things.
It is actually dark brown and the red is very subdued.
The picture looked much better on my camera.
These shots really don't do it justice.  All of the hardware is either brown or black.

I finally used the stack of chocolate Co'ordinations paper that I have had forever.

I made a couple of other things too.  I hope to get the up here inthe next day or so.

See you soon,
Ang

Love this! The gear embossing in the background is really highlighted by the clock face. So very steam punk!

This looks so cook. I love how the embossing looks like the innards of a clock. How excited are you about the lock and key set to be released on Thursday?
Great card. Love all the hardware. I am glad the card came out better than envisioned. That's a really good feeling.
