Another Day, Another Challenge

I saw this sketch and really liked it so I decided to participate in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. 

I was in the process of making another card that just wasn't working for me.  

So I modified things a bit, added a little bit and came up with this.

I am really happy with the way it came out.  

I am planning on making a couple more cards using these colors and theme to make

a set to go into my little bag I made a couple of weeks ago:

 

I have a dear friend that is going thru some tough times and wanted to send her a card. I found an old magazine page I had torn out and used it for inspiration to make this card:

 The patterned paper is from a new Authentique 6X6 pad I picked up a while back.  

I also used my PTI Wreath For All Seasons which has not seen nearly enough love.
