2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Image
Hi there, Today I am participating in the 2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I really enjoy these hops because I love coffee themed stamps and have a lot of them.

I was going for a sunrise look.
A couple of the little details I like are the tiny sun and the steam die.

Thanks for stopping by,

Inspired by All the Little Things #54

Image
Hi there, Today  I am playing along with the Inspired by All the Little Things challenge #54.

When I saw the inspiration photo the first thing I thought of was the  SU Occasions set Bookcase Builder.
This photo shows a little detail I added with the SU SAB set Delicate Details.

Anything Goes...

Image
Hi there,
Today, I am playing along with the  A Blog Named Hero Challenge.

I fell in love with this stamp, Antique Bee and Flowers, the moment I saw it.   The detail on the bee is amazing and it embossed beautifully. A little Copic coloring on the wreath. The background was made with the Hero Arts Honeycomb stencil and Butter Bar ink. The sentiment is StampinUp.
Thanks for visiting Ang

Just for fun!

Hi again,
Today I am sharing a card I made just for the fun of it.
The images are from an SU stamp set, Wild for Flowers.  I really love this set for its simple beauty. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant.  I embossed it in green.  It looks a little blotchy because I added Wink of Stella to it and the flowers.

Challenge Time

Image
Hi,
Today I am participating in a challenge over at The Fusion Challenge
The photo caught my eye with the grey background and bright colors.  With this challenge you can use the sketch and or the image as inspiration.
While the photo caught my eye, I didn't really use that much grey or red. Once I started die cutting the green vellum I fell in love with it. There is my little bit of grey.
Thanks for visiting.

Wow, almost exactly two years.

Even tho I haven't been blogging, I have been doing lots of creating.  Can't wait to show & tell.
Gonna start with a challenge for the Coffee Lovers Cardmakers Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I have a lot of coffee stamp sets and I love coffee, what could be more perfect. This is a pretty simple card for me.  I really like all the white space.  That little swirl of steam is from a Paper Smooches die set.  I am looking forward to participating in more challenges.

Happy New Year...

Yes, it has been that long.   Lots of creating going on, just not so much blog posting. Today, I am participating in a new challenge: Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights ChallengeThey choose something on Pinterest as inspiration and then we use the new Essentials by Ellen products to create something: I have chosen to use my only Essentials by Ellen stamp and die set, Bold Blooms by Julie Ebersole.  The stamps are very high quality and they come in heavy plastic envelopes for storage.  The dies also come with a magnetic sheet.  I love when products are packaged so nicely.  I am a huge fan of Julie Ebersole's.  If you have never seen her videos on You Tube you should make a point of checking them out.  She is a crack up, just love her.
Anyway here is my card:

The picture does not due the gold dots justice.   I used Avery Elle's Circle-It set with Delicata Golden Glitz ink.   This stuff is gorgeous!
I die cut the flowers, cutting four of the smaller flower and leaf and layering them fo…

HOC September Challenge

Image
Hi there, It is, once again, my turn to provide inspiration at the  House of Cards September Challenge.
This month we were provided with a color/photo challenge:
Love these beautiful Autumnal colors. I used a new die from Wplus9, with some  blue scrap paper in the background. Paper pieced an old CTMH set.   I really enjoy paper piecing, love the little bit of dimension added with patterned papers.  Ribbon, a button and a twine bow finishes it off. Please join us at the HOC Challenge or just visit to see all the gorgeous inspiration from the DT.
Thanks
Ang

I saw this sketch last week...

at the Cardabilities Blog and decided to play along.
I love the hexagons, have punches and dies, but always have trouble coming up with my own designs for them.
Here is what I came up with:  The patterened paper is from an old BoBunny 6X6 pad.   It is the Little Miss Collection.   It has a tea party feel to it,  I guess for Little Miss Muffet.  I wanted a very subtle background.   Used Ivory on Ivory leaf dies.   It looks really good in person.  I wanted to use a little lace on it to go along with the tea theme.  Found the perfect colored ribbon scrap, so glad I save those little bits.

More goodies...

Hello, I wanted to share some cards I have made over the last couple of weeks.   Just for fun! Both cards use these beautiful feather stamps and dies.  I cut the bottom of the card like a file folder, hence the shadow over the sentiment.  Just some scrap paper and ribbon. So simple, yet beautiful.   The feathers are stamped on and embossed on vellum.
My second card: I am in love with this one.  The gorgeous background is a piece of  Teresa Collins 6X6 paper. Pretty ribbon scraps, a die cut thank you, a cute little bird and we're good to go.. Thanks Ang
